Question: What is an Elevator Pitch?

An Elevator Pitch is a two to three minute summary of a business plan's executive summary. That's right -- it's a summary of a summary. Although three minutes is a lot longer than most elevator rides, the point of the terminology is to mean it's a very condensed version of the original. There should be a "teaser" element to it to help garner interest and spark requests for more information.
